Bonjour mes amis!
I have some amazing news to share! My Visa has been approved and I just have to go pick it up in San Francisco at the French Consulate. I plan on hopping on Bart tomorrow morning and picking it up! We couldnt have cut it any closer to my departure date. The whole process was very stressful and I'm glad it's over with. Thank goodness!
Other news, I talked with my (French) family this last Sunday through Skype. We had a great chat and there are some changes I am excited about. The original plan was that I was going to be arriving shortly after they moved into their new house in Crespières. But, there has been some delay in the construction of their house and it will not be ready until the first week of May. Which means that I will be living with them in their flat in Paris for about a month! They asked me what my favorite color was so that they could "customize" my room. So sweet! I am very excited about being in the city for awhile since my school is there and I will be able to explore a little bit before we move out of the city to Crespières.
Time is just flying by.... I hope I can get everything done before I leave! So much to do, so little time! Thats all for now! Au revoir!
YAY!!! What GREAT news! I am SO glad that your VISA was approved. It can be such a stressful time playing the waiting game.
