Abbott Invasion:Part 2

Hey guys!

So Sunday was the last and final day of our Abbott takeover of Paris. We fit in a lot during these few days and by Sunday we were both exhausted. I started my day by going to church and then met up with Kristi right after at le tour effeil. We walked around a cute outdoor market and bought some beignets (french doughnut holes) and a sandwich and drinks. Because it was Easter, we couldnt pass up the opportunity to buy easter eggs to go along with our picnic. After we ate, we even had a little Easter Egg Hunt! Kristi insisted that it was her duty as the eldest Abbott cousin to continue this family tradition and of course, I played along. It was fun and we took some great photos!
After our picnic we headed to le Sacre Coeur. A huge, elaborate church built in 1875-1914 dedicated to the 58,000 lives lost in the Franco-Prussian War. It's beautiful and the architecture is incredible and very different from the other monuments I've seen so far. The rest of the day we just walked around the area. We ate at a cute bistro for dinner, and wandered, unintentionally into the sleezy red light district (although I was excited to see the Moulin Rouge, just not everything else). Let's just say Kristi had a hard time keeping up with me because I was walking so fast, trying to get outta there! We ended our night back where we started-in front of the sacre coeur, with crepes and coca light. It was the perfect ending to a great weekend! Here are the pictures! Enjoy! Loves!
